You will never feel ready. Confidence doesn't come first, action does. Plus the day I walked straight through a screen door showing my first clients a house.
Now that you’ve identified where in your life you need to raise your standards to accomplish what you desire…
It’s time to take action. And this is where most people get it wrong.
They tell themselves:
“I’ll do it when I’m ready.”
“When I’ve learned more.”
“When I have the right plan.”
“When I have more money.”
“When I know exactly what to say.”
They spend their time…Getting ready to get ready, because they don’t feel ready.
Here’s the truth:
You will never feel ready.
Confidence doesn’t come first.
Action does.
Think about a kid learning how to ride a bike.
You don’t sit them down and explain every detail, how the bike was built, the exact mechanics, where their arms should be on every turn…No.
You put them on the bike.
You hold onto the back for a little while…
They get some momentum…
And then eventually, you let go.
And what happens?
They fall. Not if… when.
But they get back up.
They get back on.
And little by little…
They figure it out.
And trust me, I’ve had my fair share of “learning moments.”
I remember one of the first clients I ever showed homes to.
We walked into this beautiful house, and I was so excited to show them the backyard. I confidently headed straight for it……and walked right through the screen door.
Like full speed. Bam. I just stood there thinking, “Did that really just happen?” 😳
My clients started laughing… and honestly, so did I. And in that moment I realized,
You can even “fail” at showing a house.
But here’s the thing:
That didn’t ruin anything.
It didn’t end my career.
It didn’t make me less capable.
It just became one more rep. One more story. One more step forward.
Because that’s how confidence is actually built.
Not by doing it perfectly…But by doing it anyway. Not through thinking. Not through planning. Not through waiting.
Through doing.
So if you’re sitting there overthinking your next move…
Get out of your head and just start.
Make the call. Sign up for the program. Set your alarm earlier. Take the leap.
Will you be afraid? Yes.
Will you fail? Probably, absolutely yes.
Will it feel uncomfortable? Absolutely.
Good, because that’s where growth happens. Every rep builds belief.
Every action builds identity.
Every failure shapes the next version of you.
Confidence is not something you’re given, it’s something you earn, one action at a time.
So stop waiting & start moving.
Everything you want is on the other side of comfort.
Trust that confidence will meet you on the other side of failing, even when you don’t feel ready.
1-2-3-4-5 ------ GO!!!
Onward,
Tara Allen
