I had a little aha while cooking eggs: turn the heat up too high or flip too soon and you make a mess. Life and business require patience and trust in the process.
I had a little aha while cooking eggs this morning.
My husband is a ninja in the kitchen, so I don’t cook breakfast often. Mostly because when I do, one of two things happens:
First, I turn the burner up way too high because I want to hurry the process... and… they either burn or are just over cooked.
Second, I know they’re not ready to flip but I do it anyway. And then I’m standing there with my spatula, trying to hold the egg together, frustrated, because I knew better and chose to rush it.
Sound familiar?
That’s life, isn’t it?
Just like cooking eggs, life and business require patience and trust in the process.
So often we try to skip steps. We quit too soon.
We pull the trigger before thinking it through.
We rush, make a mess, and then try to fix it or buy what we think is the magic pill to avoid the work.
We don’t give things the time they actually require to create the outcome we want because most want instant gratification. Sorry that’s not how most goals work.
Anything worthwhile takes time. It takes effort. It takes grit, courage, and a clear vision.
Life isn’t as complicated as we make it but it does require patience and a plan.
Spend more time upfront. Trust the process. Do the work.
Life is great, if you choose greatness.
You’ve got this.
Now go make it happen. 💪✨
