Our greatest qualifications don't come from degrees or titles. They come from our scars, our track record, and the courage to take the leap. Use your pain for purpose.
I used to think our greatest qualifications came from degrees, certifications, or titles.
Now I think they come from scars, taking the leap, our experiences, our track record.
Scars tell us we've healed enough to help someone else. Your track record proves we can do it. Taking the leap means we had the courage, we were scared but we did it anyway.
Every difficult season you've walked through has given you something. It changes you, it gives you wisdom, confidence, and helps you grow to the next version of yourself.
And while you were going through it might have felt heavy, like you didn’t know how you were going to get through it. Maybe you had a little anxiety and worry and well if you did so does someone else now going through it.
Someone else is standing exactly where you once stood, wondering if life will ever get better.
And because you've walked that road...You can see things they can't. You can offer hope that feels believable, not because you read it in a book or it’s hypothetical…you did it, you’ve been there, you figured it out. YOU LIVED IT!
One of the greatest purposes of our pain is that it prepares us to walk beside someone else through theirs. Your story may be the permission someone else needs to believe healing is possible, that anything is possible.
So don’t be ashamed of your mistakes, feel sorry for yourself, or try to avoid the pain, turn it into your biggest purpose. Use your PAIN for PURPOSE, let that soak in.
Reflection:
- What version of yourself needs your compassion today?
- Who is living the life you once lived?
- How could your story become someone else's hope?
- Who needs you right now?
I believe we are in this world to help others walk through it too because SOB it can be hard and helping others will always make us happier, it will always bring us back to what’s really important. Maybe then when you help enough people you will realize that you are qualified to do HARD SHIT and the next time something hard happens you will get through it faster, you will stand when you can hardly get up, you will continue to inspire and you will make yourself proud!
Go be the light for someone.

Tara
